Ath-dditional Notes: Ranking Award Shows based on how chaotic the celebs are

We are deep in the 2025 awards season. We’ve just had the BAFTAs, and this Monday, we will see who snatches the Screen Actors Guild awards.

Then it all ends with the big kahuna, The Oscars.

In the midst of all the gowns, upsets and golden trophies, I thought I’d rank the awards shows. But this is no regular ranking, in a similar vein to the People’s Sexiest Men, I will rank these shows based on how unhinged the show is.

It’s not about prestige or honour, we all know The Oscars are the awards that have the highest regard.

I want to investigate what awards are the stupidest and silliest and where you will see your favourite actors and actresses be the loosest and get up to mischief.

If you are nominated or your film is nominated, you are obliged to show up to all of these awards. But because all of them happen in the space of a few months, it can be exhausting, boring and heartwrenching, especially if you know you’re going to be losing.

These awards ceremonies take hours to get through, for instance, the Grammys are four hours long. So it makes sense that our celebs will get up to shenanigans to pass the time.

The rules are simple: The shows will be placed based on how much the A-listers let their hair down. This doesn’t include the after-parties; it’s solely about the ceremony.

Enough chit-chat, let’s do some good old-fashioned judging!
